She was born July 2,1953, a t Dillon, the daughter of Jacqueline and W iliam (Dee) Eddie. She married Garry Biaseg Feb. 3,1973, in Dillon. She was a graduate of Beaver head County High School in Dillon. A resident of Manhattan, die served for a time on the Libraiy Board in Manhattan and ertfoyed needle craft and camping. She is survived by her husband of Manhattan; three daughters, Dagny Elisabeth, Hilary and Rhi- annon, a ll o f Manhattan; two sons, Zachary and Benjamin, of Manhat tan; two brothers, Robert Eddie of Boise, Idaho and Jack Eddie o fD il lon; two sisters, Rose Sumner of Manhattan and Deanna Miller of Kemmerer, Wyo.: her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dee and Jacqueline Eddie ofDillon; parents-in-law Fred and Ruth Biaseg o f Townsend and her grandmother, Evelyn Dttdd of Townsend. ! Mr. Ries died Nov. 10 a t English Oaks Convalescent Hospital in Modesto, Calif., of complications from multiple sclerosis. He wasborn Jan. 8, 1934, to Jesse and May Ries. The family subsequently moved to Dillon where he attended schools. He joined the Navy in 1951. Megquier diedNov. 8 a t the Washoe Medical Center in Femley, Nev. Bom in Libby on July 9, 1915, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bertello W. Megquier and Bertha (Carnes) Megquier, he was raised and edu cated in Dillon. H r . Megquier moved to Reno, Nevadain 1955 where he lived u ntil he retired in 1979 and moved to Femley. He was a plumber for the State of Nevada and a 50-year life member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union #350 and VFW Post #10247 in Femley. He served in the U.S, Navy from 1943 to 1945. He is survived by his wife Lucille (Katie) Kelly Megquier; his mother, Bertha Megquier of Dillon and a son, Dr. James Megquier; a daugh ter in law, Lynn Megquier; a sister, Bonnie Mae Brown of Sheridan; three granddaughters, one great granddaughter, three nieces and four nephews. Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 12, at O’Brien-Rogers and Crosby Chapel in Reno. Private burial was conducted at Sierra Memorial Gardens a t Reno. Memorials may be sent to the University of Nevada Medical School, Medical Science Bldg., Reno, NV 89503. Mr. Hulet was bom April 19, 1929in Hagerman, Chavez County, New Mexico, tiie fourth aon of David W. and Alice Randall H u le t As a small boy, he moved with h is family to Chandler, A riz. He completed his elementaiy education there and graduated from Chandler High School with the class o f 1947. During those years he worked on his fathePs dairy farm and earned the Arizona State Farmer’s Degree in the Future Fanners o f America. He also earned his Eagle Scout Award and later in his life worked with several Boy Scout troops and was a member o f the Scout Council in Beaverhead County. On Dec. 28, 1950, John was united in marriage with Bessie Carpenter in the Arizona Temple in Mesa, Ariz. To this union were bom 10 children - five sons and five daughters. In 1955 the Hulet fami lies moved to Bullhead City, A riz., andin 1962to C hallis, Idaho, where they were engaged first in a dairy farm with registered Jerseys and later in ranching. In 1966 they moved to Dillon where they acquired a larger ranch ing operation, raising and selling grain, hay and livestock. Upon the deaths o f h i# father. Davra W. in 1971 and his older brother, Randall in 1974, John andhis sons took over the operation of the ranch. During this time he became a charter memberofthe Century Club of the Montana Farm Bureau Fed eration which he held u n til the time of his death. He served for a time as Beaverhead Countypresidentof the Montana Farm Bureau. Mr. H ulet was precededin death by his mother and father, Alice Randall and David W. Hulet and two brothers, Vernon Cyrus and Randall Silas H u le t , Surviving are his 10 children, sons anddaughters-in-law,W. John and Rebecca, W illard C. and Coiy, Wade R. and Joyce, Wayne L . and Julie Hulet, o fDillon and Wendell A Hulet now serving in the United States Navy aboard the USS Mt. P a i g e SHERIDAN-Memorial services for Lowell M. Paige, 82, of Sheridan were Nov. 15 a t St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Virginia City. The Rev. Mary Jacques and the V irginia City Elks Lodge 390 conducted services. Mr. Paige died o f cancer Nov. 12 at the Ruby Valley Hospital in Sheridan. Cremation has taken place. He was bom Feb. 16, 1907 in Twin Bridges to BertG.andFlorence Paige. He graduated from Twin Bridges High School and the University of Montana. He worked briefly a t the family ranch in Alder. He then worked at the Madison County superintendent of schools office and also the Madi son Abstract Office for the late Dis trict Judge Frank E. Blair in Vir ginia City. He owned and operated the Walter Pitcher Garage in Twin Bridges. He la te r woriced four years for the Anaconda Co. as a time keeper. He worked two y e a n at the Reed Motor Co. o f Anaconda as an accountant. In 1948, Mr. Paige moved to the Ransom Ranch in Alder and stayed eight years. In 1956, he moved to the old Paige family ranch in Alder and lived'.there u n til 1961 when it was sold. He then moved to Sheridan and operated Ehlers Insurance Agency and Paige Red Estate u n til he be came manager ofthe Montana State Liquor Store. He retired in 1972. He belonged to the Christ Epis copal Church in Sheridan and was past exalted ruler and a 64-yeitr member of E lks Lodge 39Q and was past district deputy o f the Grand Exalted Rulers. He was past worthy patron of the Virginia Order of Eastern Star 9 and was a life member o f the Westgate Masonic Lodge ofTwin Bridges. He also served on the Sheridan and Alder school boards and be longed to the Alder Fire Depart ment. He liked mining, hunting, golf ing and bowling. Mr. Paige and Bobby Jackson were married July29,1937,inGaiy, Ind. She survives. Other survivors are sons and daughters-in-law, Lowell Paige, J r . of San Antonio, Ray and Corliss Paige of Hobson, and A lan and Lois Paige of Vienna, Va.; brother, Boynton Paige ofPhilipsburg; and four grandchildren. He was bom Feb. 13, 1956, in Dillon to Joseph “Bill* and Helen Bettle. He grew up in Butte and attended the Longfellow School, East Junior High and graduated firom Butte High in 1974. He married Sendee Murphy on July 6, 1976 in Lima. They were later divorced. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and the.NRA junior-sponsored rifle team. Mr. Bettle was employed by the Parker D rilling Co.
