SUNDAY John 8:71-59 MONDAY 6 t n « i s l l,:l-2 |i TUESDAY Hebrews 7:1-28 WEDNESDAY 1 Chronicles 16:7-36 If you h ivt ever been * first time visitor to a new city with an underground rail system, a scene like this one might come to mind. You walk up the long stairs from the dark tunnel of the subway. You step onto the sidewalk into the light, never knowing from one stop to the next exactly w hat scene w ill await you at the top. Perhaps you walk Into a business district shining with glass and steel; or a verdant park awaits; perhaps children sgueal in glee as they ride a carousel. A tree-lined residential district could welcome you, or a row of colorful ethnic restaurants. You never know what awaits you until you step into the light o f day. At times, we are unsure of stepping into new situations, not knowing what awaits us there. Yet, we need not fear, for God goes w ith us. We read in Psalm II2:h and 7... \Light rises in the darkness for the upright,...his heart is firm, trusting In the Lord.\ Won't you let God walk with you through your days? Learn more about the Lord and His Holy Word as you step toward the light of His love In worship at His House this week.
