Room for everyone Young artists create gifts, ornaments Photos By Elaine Spicer Saturday's gift and ornament workshop held by the Beaverhead Valley Artist Cooperative (BVAC) saw a roomful of young artists making their own handmade cre­ ations. With a number of projects available, everyone in attendance was able to take home several cre­ ations. From glass beads and charms, one of a kind bracelets and neck­ laces were made. With craft foam, photo frames were created. With Christmas tree shapes, sequins, pins, and beads, ornaments were completed. Everyone took home something of their own, even re­ ceiving a gift bag on their way out. \ This week’s Beaverhead Val­ ley Artist Cooperative holiday workshop will be the second an­ nual Ice Sculpture Contest, it will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. in the State Bank and Trust parking lot. fun prizes will be awarded, and kids of all ages will be able to try their hands at the unique artform of ice sculpting.
