About 200 people were in attendance. The decorations carried out the Dogpatch theme. At the entrance of the ballroom was a slide which represented a hill. To enter the ballroom, one had to go down the slide. A mural complete with Pig Girl and Boy was on the west wall of the SUB ballroom. Pictures of Sadie and her date were hung over the mantle. The refreshment table was decorated with a newsprint tablecloth and a still. Old clothes were hung around the SUB. Although the band that was hired didn't show up, a makeshift band and borrowed records pro- vided danceable music. Prizes for the best couple went to Janice Hellyer and Bob Betzer who were attired in matching nighties. They were presented with an appropriate award. 1958 HOMECOMING The Student Legislature is con- sidering applications for the 1958 Homecoming chairman.
