What is this?
Optical character recognition (OCR) is an automated process that converts a digital image containing numbers and letters into computer-readable numbers and letters. The search engine used on this web site searches OCR-generated text for the word or phrase you are looking for. Please note that OCR is not 100 percent accurate. If the original image is blurry, has extraneous marks, or contains ornate font styles or very small text, the OCR process will produce nonsense characters, extraneous spaces, and other errors, such as those you may see on this page. In addition, the OCR process cannot interpret images and may ignore them or render them as strings of nonsense characters. Despite these drawbacks, OCR remains a powerful tool for making newspaper pages accessible by searching.

The win was the tenth straight for the Spartans, who now dorni- _ nate the series 12-4. The game was very similar to the Knights' games this past sea- ~n. costly turnovers at critical points in the game. The Knights scored their only touchdown of the game on a two yard plunge by senior running back Darwin Ernst as time ran out in the first half . The Knights will be trying to end their season on a winning note Friday, when they play host to the Columbia Falls Wildcats . Hellgate head football coach Van Troxel describes Columbia Falls as a football team with a very good winning tradition . Castalia ellen reynolds It ' s obvious that I have to ex- plain what my c0lumn ' s name means . After refu3ing to tell someone (I won't mention his name ), I was held at knife point until I unveiled the definition . It took some time, because of the incessant clattering of my teeth and frozen tongue . Well , here it is : In the book Dictionary of Mythology by Ber- gen Evans, Castalia is a \Spring or fountain at the foot of Parnas- sus . It was sacred to the Muses . \Columbia Falls is one of the smallest football teams in class AA.\ Troxel added, \When they (Columbia Falls) take the field, they come out to prove some- thing. \ Troxel said that Columbia Falls is one of the toughest teams to play defense against be- cause they run a trap sweep op- tion and run a lot of misdirec- tion pl~ys. . \I hope to take advantage of Columbia Falls' small size by running the option plays and passing the ball . \ Even though the Knights ru:e 1-7 so far this season, Troxel lS not the least bit disappointed in this year's football team . \We keep on improving every week and the players never quit.\ Troxel added, \We have a good attitude . \ Troxel said, \Our record is n o indication of how good of foot- ball team we really are . We are as good as anyone. \ In it , Pythia , the priestess of the Delphic oracle , bathed and / or drank for inspiration .\ Many comments and questions arise at the definition . The main defense is that I like the idea of inspiration being drunk or bathed in . Also, just say the name. Castalia. It sounds good on the tongue and to the ear . Hellgate running back Darwin Earnst (22) awaits a pitch-out fr o · .e rback Dan Tabish ( 1 0) while Bob Byrne (44) looks for someone to block. The Knights lost to the Spartans 28-7 to spoil Hellgate's homecoming game last Friday night. HEA V Y MET A L V 0 L U ME ASUM PR OG R A MMIN G .
