Flanders first received his bach elor’s degree in 1990 in interna tional business and economics at Augsburg University, Minn, and then his master’s degree in market ing at the Minnesota Carlson School of Management in 1999. Upton has known Flanders for three years, while both taught sim ilar classes at the Carlson School of Management. Upton said that The kick off of the recycling of plastics will also be occurring on Earth Day, or more accurately, “Earth week.” This will take place in the parking lot of the Hustad Center (formerly Smith’s Grocery) beginning on the 23rd and contin uing for 4-5 days. This collection event will be accepting all “type one” (clear plastics, such as soda bottles) and “type two” (translu cent or opaque plastics, such as milk jugs).
