~ SENIORS SCHEDULE HILLBILLY COl\~t_OY The Senior class has set the date fer their class play, A-Feudin 1 Over Yonder, for April 11 and 12. A-Feudin 1 Over Yonder is a three-act hillbilly comedy which should hold the interest of people of all ages, The plot surrounds two feuding families, the Frys and the Popoffs. Several of the younger members of theoo families plan to end the feud, and their attempts often prove to be nearly disastrous. Members of the cast are: Donna Martin, Nancy Wickens lfiike Lechner ,Dennis Heggem, Teresa Thompson, Dyana Glaze., Wilma Tuss, Rudy Stulc, Bruce Udelhoven, Mike Meckling, Wayne Kucera, J efCEhlert ,Arnold Olsen,Andrea Udelhoven, Ed Heggem,Janet Wickens, Skip Heller, and Denise Detliars, WINIFRED \RED RAIDERS\ As conference co-champions of District 9 season play, second-place winners of District 9 in tourna1r.ent play, the Raiders advanced to the Northern Divisional tourna- ment at Great Fills. i'lembers of the A team are: (left to right) Steve Ehlert, ,\iike Lechner, Rick Bergum, Jack Carlstrom, Rudy Stulc, Dennis Heggem, Ed Heggem, Joe ,lickens, Bruce Udel- hoven, and 1 • 1ike l' leckling. She also has been awarded a specially designed silver charm from the spon- sor of the contest. Nancy is president of the Winifred Pep Club, a member of the National: Hon- or jociety and is active in other school organiza· • tions, BAND TO PLAY HERE AT VvlNIFREO The Symphonic Band ot !fontana State University will te coming to Winifred and will play at the school on March 18, at 9:00 a,m, There will be no admission charge and everyone is in- vited to come.
