Janet Wickens, assisted by Debbie Smith,Susie Kinke- laar, and Kathy Lechner, conducted the candlelight cere- mony for the new members . They are: Denise DeMars,Joe Wickens, and Rick Bergum, seniors; and Sue Ann Stulc and Connie Mecklin 6 , juniors. Mrs. Thelma Thomas, adviser for the group, explained the membership categories and the emblem~ The other qualifications of membership--Character, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service--were explained by the initia- tion team, The new members recited the pledge and re- ceived their official certificates, membership cards and pins. Refreshments were served at the conclusion of the program. Reunion dates set The Winifred classes of 1943, 1944, 19u5 and 1946 plan to have a reunion on July 11 and 12 at Winifred. Plans are to have the banquet Sat., July 11, at the Winifred Care, with a dance to follow. Then on Sunday, July 12, a family picnic is planned at the Winifred Pioneer Park. The committee is sending letters out, and further in- formation can be secured from Rosie Foreman at Winifred. Plan now to attend the reunion on July 11 and 12.
