Lehman. One reason for the banquet was to present plaques to all individual team members for their participation in this year's successful 7-1 football season. The plaques were provided by Mr. Robert Stevens, a friend of the team, and many thanks are extended for his interest. Coach Colby also presented certificates to all-confer- ence players,Jerry Stulc, Terry Selph, Don Hamilton, and Keith Meckling. The honorable mention players were David Udelhoven, Carl Seilstad, and John Wickens. Everyone present enjoyed the fine chicken dinner and they especially thank Mrs. Clarice Asbjornson for baking and decorating a large chocolate cake. This was made in the form 0£ a large football and was the table center- piece and dessert. Cathy ~eceives DAR Award Cathy Skinner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Kuchan, has been chosen to receive the DAR Good Citizenship Award. The Senior Class chose three girls to be candid- ates and the faculty chose one from these three girls on the basis of depend- ability,service,leadership · and patriotism.· Cathy be- comes the school's good citizen and is eligible to redeive a pin and award. She may then enter the state contest by completing the contest questionnaire. Some of Cathy's activ- ities are Pres-Pep Club, pompon member, paper staff page editor, . and annual staff member. Ho I i day Vocation Begins · Dec. 2 l/- School will dismiss for the Christmas holidays, Thursday, December 23, at 12:00 P.M. Hot lunches will not be served that day. School will begin the following Monday, January 3. Christmas Programs Scheduled The Christmas Concert will be December 15 at 7:30 P.M. in the school gym. Several groups will be performing. The numbers will include March of the Kings and O,Come, Elnmanuel by the Band. Rockin'Around the Christ- mas Tree and Jingle Bell Rock by the Jr. High. Put Your Hand In The Hand and Who'll Stop the Rain by the High School Boys Ensemble. Go Tell It On The Moun- tain and Medley Christmas by the High School Chorus. The Elementary grades will present their Christ- mas program, Christmas is the Sound of Love, Wednes- day, December 22, at 7:30 P.M. Santa Clause is sched- uled for a short visit at the conclusion of the pro- gram. The public is re- quested to attend the pro- gram. Reports Stulc & by Jerry The American Legion as- sisted by the Auxilary held their annual Armistice Day banquet Nov.11 at the Com- munity Hall. Guests were delegates to Boys' and Girls' State, Jerry Stulc and Margie Berry. Each gave a report on their ex- perience at Boys•State and Girls' State. Their par- ents were also guests.
