He will stop at Seattle and Portland and from there will probably go down into California to remain during the win- ter months, Despite the inclement weather last Friday night the dance given by the Mont Air orchestra of Winifred was a decided success, although the crowd was not as large as would have been the case had it not rained. This orchestra, which had never previous- ly appeared in Moore, is among the best in the country, their time being almost perfect. A few from Moore were in attend- ance at t14 dance in Straw Tuesday night. The Cahalan orchestra fur- nished their usual good music. MISS WALL PASSES AWAY At 11:45 laizt night Miss Mary E. Wall passed ay at the Harris home in this city, death being due to a complication of diseases. About - six 'weeks ago she was confined to he room, having contracted typhoid fever while at Lewistown. Havingi recently recovered from typhoid she had an attack of Bright's disease with which she had• been suffering until the end came last night. 'Al- though no hope was entertained for her recoliery, her dedli came as a shock to her many friends in Moore, Mary E. Wall Was born, on a farm near Georietown, Ohio on Oct. l, 1862 and came to Montana ii years ago. She taught school ticar Belt 12 years ago and was well acquainted with many people in the, town. Later she taught at 'Bozeman and Roundup, coming to Moore in 1911 and. taught two successful terms in the local schools. This year she was to have taught the Cooper. school south of town, but after the first day was taken sick and brought to Moore. Her sister, Mrs. Ivy Walmagotte, of Georgetown, Ohio, was at her bed- side when the end came. She is survived by her father and mother, four brothers and. one sister, all of whom reside in Ohio. Funeral seiviees were held this af- ternoon at 2:30 at the Methodist Episcopal, church, Rev. J. H. Durand conducting the services. The re- mains, accompanied by Mrs. Wal- magotte, were shipped this afternoon to Georgetown, where interment will be made. Notice to Public. Miss PearlDehnert returned the latter part of the week from Bose - man, where she attended the state convention of the Rebekahs as a del- egate from this city. She reports an unusually large attendance and says that the Bowman lodge entertained the delegates in a royal manner. 'The next convention will he held in Stitte. If you want to help the band boys and at the same time enjoy an even- ing of real pleasure, don't fail to at- tend the band concert they are put- tind on next Thursday night, Nov. 6th. They have secured many new and up-to-date selections and by de- voting two and three nights of each week to proctice are now in a posi- tion to give the people of Moore and vicinity a first class concert. , A free dance will be given after the concert. Rev. and Mrs. J. H. Durand were agreeably surprised lest night when a drayinan drove up to the parsonage w4h a load of lumber which he in- sisted on unloading. Rev. Durand was quite positive that a mistake had been made, but upon inquiring. At the Montana Lumber yard wail in- formed that the Ladies' Aid of the B. ehureh had ordered it for the purpose of haring another story ad- ded to the parsohage.
