People Who Come and Go and Little Events That Add Charm To Life in the Beautiful Judith Basin Plan to attend \A Noble Outcast\ Friday, Dec. 5th. Dr. and Mrs. Keenan, of Hobson, were local visitors last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Harrigan were in the city from Stanford Sun- day, coming over in their auto. The Ladies' Aid of the Methodist church will hold their annual bazaar in Moore on Saturday December 0th. Mr. and .Mrs. 6. H, Thurston re- turned home Friday afternon from a visit with their sons at Stanford. Don't forget the date, Friday, Dec. 5th, \A Noble Outcast,\ a five act play presented by the Rebekahs and I. O. O. F. Tomorrow night a social dance will be given at the hall in Buffalo. Good music has been engaged and every- body is welcome. The milsic, however, was good and showed that the members had devoted considerable time to practice. • Roy Fosler„•who has been employ- ed at die Moore Meat Maiket, depart- ed Tuesday morning, accompanied by his family, for Bozeman, where he will be employed s in, one of the shops as meat cutter this winter. He expects to return to Moore in the spring. Mrs. Fosler is a sister to Mrs. W. H. Steele and a neice of Mrs. Nettie Wood's. C. A. èhristopherson, the well known rancher from the Hobson country, has purchased ,the W. M. Marks residence property on Nob Hill. His family will remove to Moore so that his children may take advantage of the local school' this winter. Wilbur McCourt, accompanied by three other Minters from II ilger, stopped in the city Friday night while on their way home from a limit- ing trip to Antelope creek in the Belt mountains. They were unable to se- cure any big game on account of the deep snow in the mountains. They stated that cattleinen in that vicinity have already begun to feed their stock as the range is covered with snow to such a depth that the a iuimnals Cannot find feed. Manager A. 0. Gall Of the Moore opera house is having the stage en- larged, the walls and ceiling of the hall calcimined and the wood work re -painted this week. When the work is completed the opera house will present a very neat .appearance. The stagehas alwayb been too small for the production of any play when a large number of actors were obliged to be upon the stage at one time, while the - dr‘saing rooms on either side made it very inconvenient for the rapid changing of costumes. The new improvements • will eliminate these disagreeable features to a great extent. Later on Mr. Gill will have new scenery and curtains painted. Rev. .1. H. Durand, -prof. Bodin and T. E. Rice attended a ler- quet given in the interest of the MO- tana Wesleyan. at Lewistown hlist Thursday evening. Van den Broeck will beta Moore the tirst baoliday in December. Albert Chess, a former resident of Moore, arrived here last Sunday for a visit. Since leaving here he has been in California and Mexico. Chas. Robinson, E. R. Thomas and Geo. Seright went to the county seat Monday morning, being drawn as jurors at this term of the district court. Win. Gordon, a big sheepruan from the Utica country, was in the city on business Tuesday. Yesterday he un- loaded ao head of Hampshire sheep and two Berkshire hogs, a boar and - sow, at the station at Hobson. These animals had been shipped in from Illinois and are pure bred stock. Deputy State 'Veterinarian L. P. Sharp of Moore intpecied them before they were unloadeti. On Monday afternoon at e o'clock Fraak A. Krug of Denton and Miss Jeanette Good of Tomah, Wis., were united in marriage at the Methodist parsonage at Lewistown, Rev. C. M. Donaldson officiating. John A. Sex- ton of this city was present and act- ed as One ti the witnesses. Mr. Krug is well and fivorably known in Moore, having been employed at the Modern Barber shop until a couple,. of months ago when he' removed to Denton to open a shop of his own. The bride, ho visited here for some time, is also greatly adm ired by her • many friends.
