The moving pictures were ,xcellent and first class in every pantilcular anai the interior of the theater very neatly decorated and arranged. Manager Freuen is en- titled to much praise for his efforts In providing such a splendid amuse - went place., The Lyric Will show every night, excepting Sunday, with rthree changes of films dulling the week. High class pictures are shown from the best circuits and all will find the Lyric a most pleasant place to spend the evening. \FEDS\ WIN FROM STRAW Last Sunday the Moore \Federals\ Journeyed to Straw where they met in deadly ,comlbat the nine men which represents that city on the base ball diamond. It .was a hard fought battle from beginning to end, neither side at any time having any advantage of the other, as 'the score , was tied *ev- ened times daring the game, but at, the ninth inning 'when the smoke hail cleared away and the spectators had dug the dust from their eyes ausl in- spected the score book it was found that the total was 6 to 5 in favor of the winners, which of coarse, could be no other than the Moore \Fads.\ A large crowd of Moore rooters a.cicompanted ithe team and all say that it was about the best game they had witnessed this season and from the score it, would seem that they know what they are talking about. The Strew aggregation will play a return game here some time iu the near future and the \Feels\ think they will have no trouble in again de- feating them. Quite a &umber of local peeple en- JaYed a very pleasant \barn\ dente at Slohnyller Heald's farm, just east Of town last Thursday eventing. Mr. Heald has just comaleited a Large taw barn 32x46, with hay room for aver 30 tons and equipped with hay flork a.nd carrier, and well arranged !stalls on the first floor. It is a aplenclid building and well finished. Tithe second floor was utilized for the dance and for dancing the floor had been put into excellent condition. fluff Bros'. ArgestInger started the game for Moore but was not in as good a shape as usual and allowed Roundup to have law scores in the first lust lug and two in the second. He was relieved in the third by tMcNamara, who did some effective 'work, allowing them but a few scattering hits which netted them the other two scores. The Maroon's hit Sanders, who oc- cupied the mound for Roundup, quite freely but were unable to bunch their hats so that they would Mean runs. Roundup Is credited with 9 hits and 2 errors, while Moore has 11 hits and 8 errors. The Maroons will play Judith Gap on the local diamond next Sunday and a feat game is looked for. At the Home Plate.
