Inasmuch as Baker expects to have a brick manufacturing plant some day, the following paragraphs from the\ Fromberg (Montana) Herald will be of interest: Monday afternoon the Fromberg Pressed Brick and Tile plant filled its 13th kiln, the last for the present sea son and rounded out the best seasons' to output the plant has enjoyed-since its beginning some seven or eight years agov Nearly 4,000,000 bricks have been made this season and have been placed-in some of the best buildings in—Montana- and- -Wyoming. This; plant turns out both face and building brick’ and the product has no superior in the northwest states. Fromberg pressed are recognized by architects and builders as the best to be had and consequently they are in great de mand. At a meeting of the directors and stockholders held at their offices Tues day,, the years business was gone over and declared to be a very satisfactory one. A vote of appreciation was, ex tended to superintended Halpin .and all employes for their loyal service and as a farther mark of appreciation_for. their efficiency the sum of $1,385.00 was givenv the employes as a profif sharing gift.” At. this meeting a dividend of 50 cents on the dollar was declared to all stockholders.
