Despite the blustery winds, the cars were pristine, gleam- ing in the sun. Cars from across the region, including Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota were exhibited. Lloyd and Carol Reimann of Shepherd won the Eddie's Award for their 1940 Chevy Panel. Participant's Choice award sponsored by Sanders Rentals was given to Mary Pat Graham. Baker minors baseball news May 30, the Baker nine -ten year old Minors Baseball Team traveled to Miles City for the annual Dairy Queen Tournament. Their first game was against the Miles City Braves. They came up short and lost 5-7. This loss moved the team to the losers' side of the bracket. Baker would take on the Miles City Rockies that evening 1111(1 won 10-9. Fins kept them in tournament play for Sunday, May 31. That morning, May 31, they defeated the Miles City Wins 8-7, the Miles City Braves 11- 8, and the Miles City Red Sox 12-5. These wins put the team in the championship game. Baker had to travel back to Miles City the afternoon of June 1 to play the champi- onship game against the Miles City White Sox. Baker lost 2-7 in the championship game. The kids played very well and came home with a second place trophy. The Baker Mi- nors are coached by Travis Bailey and Bo Lingle. The Baker nine -ten year old Minors next home games will be June 22 and 25 at 5:00 and 6:30 both nights.
