June 19, 2015, 11 a.m., at St. Philip's Catholic Church at St. Philips, Mont. with Rev. Father Xavier Arim- boor celebrating and Deacon Rick Miske assisting. Inter- ment will follow in the family lot in the St. Philip's Ceme- tery. Ann passed away June 12, , 2015 in Colorado Springs, Colo., after fighting valiantly against cancer. Ann was born to Donald and Rosalee Axlund on Dec. 20, 1941 in Missoula. Ann attended schools in Mis- • soula and Billings where she met her husband, Cal. They married in 1961 and spent the • next 46 years together until his death in 2007. Ann and her family lived in Baker until 1989 when they relocated to Port Orchard, Wash. Ann was a beautician by trade, but also worked in the fields of busi- ness, education and govern- ment until her retirement from the U.S. Census Bureau in 2006. After retirement, she was involved in many volun- teer activities including: Stephen Ministry, Chaplaincy at St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor, Wash., and Mary's Place Soup Kitchen in Bre- merton, Wash. Ann was preceded in death by her husband. Cal; her par- ents; and her brother, Gregory. Ann is s U - vived by her daugh- ter and son-in-law Marie and Scott Reistad of Colorado Springs, Colo., daughter and son-in-law Kim and Rick Miske of Wibaux, son and daughter-in-law Chris and Dinah Lund of Rocklin, Calif., daughter Cathie Lund of Port Orchard, Wash.; grandchildren Aaron, Nathan and Caleb Reistad, Abigail, Olivia and Zachary Miske, and Sydney and Regan Lund; brothers, George (Marlene) Axlund and Robin Axlund of Wyoming; sister, Dianne Jacobson of Wyoming; sisters-in-law, Linda Axlund of Utah, Vickie Mann of Colo., Peggy Hayek of Calif.; numerous nieces and nephews. Ann will be remembered for her big heart, love of the Lord, and her gifts of empathy and compassion for those she served while volunteering. Her grandchildren were a source of constant joy. Game damage hunts Hunters interested in panic- ipating in \game -damage\ hunts on private land or possi- ble management seasons this year can register online begin- ning June 15 with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks. Hunters from this roster may be identified for three types of hunts: game damage, manage- ment season, and dispersal. ToyBox Preschool class of 2015 graduation May 20, 2015, family and friends gathered at the Ameri- can Lutheran Church in Baker to celebrate the graduation of the ToyBox Preschool class of 2015. Twenty-seven graduates took the stage to share what they had learned in preschool, sang songs, and received their diplomas. Graduates were announced by 2008 ToyBox graduate Avery Uecker.
