Randash, mem- ber; Lani DeBuhr, Clerk; absent: Deb Ranum, member; guest: David Havens, member of the public 9:00AM COMMISSIONER WORK SESSION PREDATOR CONTROL- The Commission received a Memo- randum of Understanding (MOU) from the Montana Stock - growers Association for a Wildlife Services Specialist to conduct Wildlife Services in Fal- lon County for predator control purposes. The Commission re- viewed and signed the MOU committing $14,000 towards predator control in Fallon County. NEW HIRE APPROVAL- The Commission reviewed and signed the New Hire Approval Form for Kcisha Wells to be hired as a permanent part-time Justice Court Clerk. REQUEST FOR QUALIFICA- TIONS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES - The Commission reviewed the Request for Quali- fications submitted to them by Brosz Engineering. The Com- mission sent a copy to Darcy Wassmann, County Attorney, to review as well. 10:00AM ROAD UPDATES Present: Alba Higgins, Shop Foreman; Bobby Wiedmer, Road Supervisor; Shannon Ilewson. Brosz Engineering SHOP UPDATES- Alba Hig- gins gave the Commission up- dates on the equipment and vehicles being serviced or re- paired this v.eek. Alba and the Commission discussed fuel being stolen from a County blade that was parked in District 2. by the 101 Y on Wednesday evening. Alba said the City of Baker asked if they could use the County packer again this year and the Commission gave permission. Alba gave the Commission quotes from Tractor & Equip- ment for Scraper repairs and the Commission gave permission for the repairs to be done. ROAD UPDATES - Bobby gave the Commission updates on the items the Road Crew is working on this week. The Commission and Bobby discussed various roads that need to be built up this season. PROJECT UPDATES- Shan- non Hewson gave the Commis- sion updates on the Cooper Bridge and Calumet Rd Box Cul- vert. 11:00AM fl.F.AN UP DAY CONTRIBUTION DISCUS - Devon Banister did not appear for the meeting therefore it was cancelled. 1 ; 5AM COMMISSIONER WORK SESSION CONTIN- UED EARMARKED ALCOHOL TAX MONIES- The Commis- sion reviewed and signed the Service Provider Designation Form for earmarked alcohol tax monies. US DEPT. OF AGRICUL- TURE- The Commission re- viewed and Commissioner Baldwin, as Chairman, signed the Emergency Assistance for Livestock, Honey Bees, and Farm -Raised Fish Program (ELAP) and Livestock Forage Disaster Program (LIT) Lease Agreement Certification State- ment that exists between Fred Hoff and Fallon County. PROPERTY INSUR AfiC1 7 ,- The Commission discussed in- suring the stalls at the Fair- grounds and decided to have them insured in the event they are destroyed and need to be re- built. PURCHASE REQUEST - The Commission received a quote from Direct Electric to install brighter light bulbs in the Court Room and the Commission ap- proved of this work being done. MISCELLANEOUS- The Com- mission reviewed and signed general journal entries to move funds from one account to an- other. The Commission and Nicole discussed these concerns. The Commission, Nicole and kffiC Newell discussed the im- portance of using the shared Court Calendar so they both are aware of what is going on in the Courtroom daily. I:30PM - Bobby Wiedmer and Alba Higgins joined the meeting. Bobby Wiedmer asked if the Commission would like the Road Department to lay the scoria on the south hill at the Fairgrounds and the Commission said yes. 1:35PM- Inter -local Agreement for Packer- Darcy Wassmann, County Attorney, cmailed the Commission an updated Inter - Local Agreement for the City of Baker to use the County Packer this season. The Commission re- viewed and signed the Inter -local Agreement and gave it to Clay- ton Hornung, City of Baker Mayor, to sign. I:35PM MARCH CLAIMS AP- PROVAI The Commission reviewed and approved the March End of Month Claims in the amount of $250,872.79 and they are filed in the Clerk and Recorder's Office. 2:30PM PROJECTS REVIEW The Commission went and looked at the work being done to the south hill at the Fairgrounds and the damages done to the Splash Park bathhouse. 4:00PM PLANNING DEPART- MENT UPDATES Present: Forrest Sanderson, KU Contracted Planner; Mary Grube, Planner Administrative Assistant Forrest Sanderson and Mary Grube met with the Commission to give them updates on the Emergency Action Plan for Dam Safety and the Pre -Disaster Emergency Mitigation Plan. The Commission and Forrest dis- cussed issues with items in the Flood Plain, things to include in the Growth Policy and the up- coming bridge projects. LYLE NEARY PLAT - Forrest presented the Final Plat for Lyle Neary's property to the Commis- sion. Plevna Cemetery Well- The Commission discussed Marc Rieger being given permission by the Plevna Cemetery Board to use their well to water his live- stock. 10:00AM RECRUITMENT OF HOMECHORE WORKER DIS- CUSSION Present: Julie Straub, Human Resource Manager; Carl Brown, Council on Aging Direc- tor Julie Straub and Carla Brown met with the Commission to dis- cuss recruiting for a Homechore Worker as the current one will be finished working on Friday. 10:30AM IT TECH Present: Andy Fujimori, IT Tech WINDOWS 10 UPGRADE - Andy Fujimori met with the Commission to discuss updating the County computers to Win- dows 10 since the upgrade is free up until July 1st.
