Ruth Marie H. Wang was borrt to Paul and Margaret ;Harlow in Thompson Falls, /April 1 1 , 1938. While growing mp, she helped her parents l with their timber and dairy farm. She attended school in IThompson Falls where she 'graduated from high school as valedictorian in 1956. She started college at Montana State. In 1958 she married Allan Wang on her parents' !ranch. They were partners in ,every undertaking. She and !Allan made their home near 011ie where they farmed and ranched. In 1967 a son, Dean, was born. In 1969 they moved o Baker and built a feed plant, \Wang Feed\ on the west edge of town. In 1987, they completed the purchase of The Bank of Baker. She was in- strumental in the bank's oper- ation until her passing. She owned and operated the Fallon County Abstract business from 2002-2008. ... She enjoyed playing the piano for the Lutheran and , Catholic Churches, Commu- nity Choir, and accompanying countless music stu- dents at music fes- tivals. She taught her grandkids how to play piano. She enjoyed watching all of the activi- ties in which the grandkids participated. She enjoyed read- ing, family history, baking, sewing, photog- raphy, any and all animals, and above all, her garden and plants. Throughout the years she was active in a number of local civic organizations. The Catholic and Lutheran Churches were first and fore- most in her life. She passed away on Mother's Day, May 8, 2016, at the Billings Clinic in Billings sur- rounded by family. It was fit- ting that she passed away on Mother's Day as she spent her lifetime being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Ruth is survived by her hus- band, Allan; son, Dean (Karen); grandchildren, Lau- ren, Paul, Katie and Jacob; one brother, Art (Mary) Harlow; nieces Margaret (Meg) Har- low and Melinda. She is preceded in death by her parents and a baby sister. Family suggest memorials be given to Baker High School Music Department or the Baker High School Scholar- ship Fund. Then coat what's left with mayon- naise, oil, or peanut butter until it is saturated. Wash and rinse. • Get grimy cotton socks white again by boiling them in water with a slice of lemon. • To remove coffee or tea stains from fabric, spread the fabric over the sink and pour boiling water slowly through the stain. • To remove cocoa and chocolate stains, scrub the stained area immediately with ammonia. • Unflavored meat tenderizer will remove some milk and baby formula stains from fabric. Make a paste of the tenderizer and cool water, tub on the spots, allow to sit, and then wash as usual. • To remove crayon from wallpaper or paint, rub with a damp cloth and a dab of toothpaste. Then rinse with a clean, damp cloth.
