AN ATROCIOUS UltiTtler came to light in Fergus county about ten days ago. The bodies of two men, two women, and a little girl wese found at differ- ent points in the ;Judith river, but developed investigation showed that they all had been in one party travel- ing through the,,country looking for a location, and been foully murdered by a man named James Wilber who was probably traveling with them under the pretense of showing them where to find a location. He shot one man j and two women, brained the other man, and probably strangled the little girl. The murder was cosninitted June 7th while in camp and the murderer then placed the bodies in a wagon and hauled them twenty-five miles to the Judith river and dumped them into that stream at different - points. He then struck for Great Falls. trading off the team and wagon, 1 larramarear Busts. : : : lIgs.rx-s. M. T. ' , _ 1 THE THOMAS CRUSE SAVINGS BANI' 01 0 1 - 11.11,1¡: - .N.A.
