Sykes of Powderville did a nice job; of pitching for the Old Timers for four innings but in the fifth he hit) two batters and retired. Frank Mc- Lain went the route for syoadls,| but in the last two innings he eas- ed up considerably. The real thrills of the game were featured when Bull McLain knocked two home runs in succession, and ran them himself. Bull had his batting eye in working order Sunday with two home runs and two singles. Crane wasn’t so slow with a two bagger, home run and two singles in five} trips. ' First Inning Old Timers—Cook and Root fan- ned, F. McLain tossed Sykes out at first, Broadus—Drummond was hit by pitcher. Holt pasted a two bagger. Crane hit for two bases and Drum- mond and Holt scored. F. McLain struck out. R. McLain popped to Sykes. Crane was caught off third, Sykes to Klein, Second Inning 0. T.—F. McLain tossed to first and George was out. Backebery fan- ned, Brock was hit by pitcher. Klein did a Casey. B.—Root caught Best's fly. The Osgood home is_one of the largest’ in Broadus and its location on Lincoln avenue betwee Holt and Hasto streets ‘occupiés a complete quarter block. A gopd artesian well is located on the property. Mr. Osgood has gold what few cattle he stil] retained to Ray Wil- son and plans on leaving the first fot June for Rogue River, Ore. where together with Mrs. Osgood and his mothér he éxpects to establish a new home, _¢ Mr. Gilmore has purchased the Property as an investment and he does not anticipate any change at the present time. The money for this work last year came from the Montana relief commis- sion and he huggested that the club contact Senator Kelsey so that this work could be continued during the coming summer, A letter from W. P. Lakin of Miles City, director for this dis- triet of Montanans, Inc., was read ip which he stated the advertising Program as outlined by his organi- zation and requested that Powder River county contribute $50, to this advertising fund.
