In a letter to a Great Falls friend, Mr. Shophord says that Farmington will bo the poslolfiee of at least 500 farmers by the middle of Juno and tliut tho agricultural development of Teton county withiu the next veur 'will be something unprecedented iu tho west. The most liberal terms aro to lie made by Mr. Shepherd to the settlors, and they will bo guaranteed cerium remits fiom their fanning operations. The project of building an electric railway from Collins to Chotoau, via Farmington, is still under considera tion by Mr. Shepherd and his asso-j ciatcs, and if tho expected settlement or tho country should occur this season, tho lino will doubtless be built. Application has beon made to tho Montana board of farmers’ institutes for tho holding of an institute at Farmington about Juno 12, to give instruction to tho uew settlers, aud it is probable that the institute will bo held at thut time.
