The exercises at the Literary Club meeting at the school house this evening are to consist of a debate, the question being: “ Re solved, Columbus did more in dis covering America than George Washington in defending her lib erties.” Recitations and songs. The chief disputants in the debate are Jas. Sulgrovc, J. E. Webb, C. L. Bristol and Clias Dunlap, affirmative; J. E. Erickson, W, II. Webb, Mose Silverman and Jack Gordon, negative. Recitations will be given by Miss Hattie Smith and Miss Hardin. Singing by the society and audience.
