They ex pect to begin work at once. , , 1 A soq was born to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Scott, at their home at Nemaha, Neb., on Friday. May 22nd. Word has been received by friends in Choteau that Richard Scott, formerly manager of the local telephone office, had been seriously injured in an auto acci dent at his home in Nebraska. It was first reported that his back was broken, but fortunately this proved to be untrue. His back was badly wrenched, however, but he is now able to be up and around again. The Teton county crew of road surveyors, who have been at work in the vicinity o f Valier, and who were the innocent cause of the item in the Valerian a couple of weeks ago concerning the work of Soo surveyors in that neighbor hood, have returned to I this city. Too bad to spoil a new railroad for you, Mr. Kelly, but vou should take a half day off some time, when you are not too busy, and get acquainted with the home folks. Every surveyor in the world is not working for the Soo. Earnest Lamka, one of the clerks in the forestry office in this c>ty, quietly left town last week, saying that he was going to Great Falls for a short visit. Arriving at that city he sent word back to his friends that he was on his way to Washington, where he expec ted to be married on June 3rd to Miss Florence Libby at Kelso, Wash. A special meeting of the Ma sonic lodge of this city was held last Saturday evening at the Woodman hall. The meeting had been called for the purpose of welcoming the grand master but at the last moment it was learned that he was unable to be prenent, but he was ably represented by J. G. Bair, of this city, who is a past grand master. About 80 Masons were in attendance, in cluding a number from Conrad, Valier, Cut Bank and other places. A luncheon was served at mid night, consisting of strawberries, ice cream, cake, chicken sand wiches and coffee. NOTICE TO SEWER CON TRACTORS Choteau, Montana, June 5,1914.
