Bils borough was riding on the reach rod of bis wagon while fording Sheep creek and his leg was caught by an old sunken log.— Conrad Observer. Another soaking rain last night and this morning adds materially to the general smile of satisfaction that is being worn by the farmers this year. The crop condition is about 100 per cent perfect to date, and everyone is feeling confident of a big crop. 'The winter wheat is beginning to head out, and is almost sure to make a good crop. Robert Kelly, the weather ob server, reports that a total of 2.19 inches of precipitation has fallen so far t U 9 month. There have been no dashing rains, and nearly all of the moisture has gone into the ground.—Conrad Independent. Two young daughters of our old friend Mr. Longmuir arrived last Saturday from Great Falls where they have been attending college the past winter. The Pioneer Press learns that Agent McFatridge has received notification from the Department of Indian Affairs of his transfer from the Blackfeet reservation to Roond Hollow, California, where h e w i l l a c t i n a similar capacity.
