Tö f ü l l t comprehend our Mon tana weather we respectfully refer •uch of our readers as have never enjoyed “ a season” in this section to the comparative weather report which we publish each month. A careful scrutiny of the table for October, which appears in this is sue, reveals the fact that the mean temperature was .3 o f a degree warmer this than last October; ihe mean maximum and minimum were also higher though the ther mometer fell one night to 15.8° against 20.8® a year ago. The greatest daily range was less this October than last and less rain fell. A careful study o f these re E orts will prove, of incalculable enefit in time to come and our people should encourage and aid the Weather Bureau in its efforts to maintain them at this point. Apply at this office. Lost on the 26tb of June, on the Dry Forks* of the arias: 1 Iron gray year ling filley—nearly black, branded circle dot on right hip. $10 reward for her recovery. Apply at this office. Between the middle and last of June, one light bay horse branded 1 (bar) on left shoulder; left bind foot white. $5 reward for information leading to his recovery. Address this office. One bay mare, 3 years old, small run ning _MI ou left shoulder, whitespoton left heel. One black filley, big star in forehead, same brand on left shoulder. $15 for recovery of both animals or $7.50 for either one. Address this office. One 3-year-old bay Norman mare, branded N S on left shoulder, vent same on same shoulder, and F C on left thigh. $15 dollars reward on delivery at this office. One black gelding, 7 years old, branded flying V on left shoulder. One strawberry roan mare, 4 years old, branded a on left shoulder. $5 reward per ^ head at this office.
