The state board of lady man agers of the Columbian exposition calls attention through its subor dinate associations to the family domitory project. An incorpora ced association with a capital of $100,000, organized for the express purpose of affording accommoda tions for families of limited moans who desire to visit the exposition. The incentive wlrch led to this en terprise was furnished by tlie im nien6P number ol letters received from persons who desire to stay under the same roof with their husbands, wives, brothers, sisters and other friends and to be ac commodated comfortably and economically. It is believed by the promoters that the doimitoiy plan will fulfill these demands and many more which may he re quired in the family interest. The shaie' cost $10 each, and eniit'e the holder to twenty days’ o'-eu pai cy of one room. S nek rertifi cafes are issued containing tvven ty coupons each good lor one day's oeoupancy if detached at the dor miloiy office. This does not in clude me.«Is, however, but a din ing room will be directly connect ed w th the building. The stock is transferable but non-assessahle. The buildings are only two stories high, lighted by electricity, heated by old fashioned fireplaces, and contain both reception and read ing moms »Special attention will be given to the comfort of elderly people. Grounds are situated a: the coiner of Seventy-fifth «treet and Yates avenue, seven blocks from the World's fair gates, one block from Illinois Central station and only four blocks irom the grand central depot of the exposi tion. Electric cars will pass the door every five minutes.
