In addition to the regular program for the 4th of July we announce a special: Purse, $5 r COW BOY RACE. Distance one mile, Entrance fee, $5. First money, $25: 2d, $15: 3d, $10. Five to enter and four to go. CONDITIONS: Entries must be made with the Secretary before 12 o’clock noon, July 4. Riders will be stationed with their saddles 20 feet behind their horses and to saddle and start after the word go. Saddles must be double rigged and cinched with ladigo straps. No buckles or snaps to be used. Each rider w ill be allowed one assistant to hold his horse §j on the scratch while saddling, but who shall not otherwise aid in saddling.
