Cross Compliance Rules Listed Farmers were cautioned today about the cross-com p liance re quirements o f the 1963 wheat sta bilization program. Roy Forrester, chairman o f the Agricultural Sta bilization and Conservation Coun ty com mittee, said that particular care is being taken to make sure that farm ers understand these pro visions when they sign up t o parti cipate in' the wheat program. Briefly, the chairman stated, '\cross com pliance” means that a farm er w h o is participating in the 1963 wheat stabilization program by diverting wheat acreage on one farm w ill have to' com p ly with the allotm ent— o r small farm base, i f this is larger—on oth e r 1 farm s in which he has an interest in the wheat c r o p in order t o be eligible for any program payment or price support.
