She plans to return Monday to read the tests for any reactors and will give the vision tests to the school children. Melvin Peterson drove to Dil lon Sunday. From there he went by bus to Great Falls to attend a Livestock Commission meeting. Mrs. John Krause returned Wed nesday from a trip to Missoula, Portland, Seattle, and other Pa cific Northwest cities. She was ac companied by her sister, Mrs. Olive Smith. They attended the wedding of a niece in Portland and visited relatives enroute. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Krause and boys Kttrt and Kade, met the travelers in Dillon. She was gone 10 days. Substi tuting for absent members were Mrs. Jack Shepherd and Mrs. Wayne Stocks. Score winners were Mrs. Mark Clemow, Mrs. Allen Dansie and Mrs. Stocks. The hos tess served a dessert course. Alfred Peterson arrived home Saturday from a cattle buying trip in Canada with his son Dar win. Mr. and Mrs. Hy Martinell,-Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Jardine, Dale Pet tit, Bill Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Nelson motored to Dillon Sunday. The men competed in the Bowling Tournament. Evelyn Guring of Frazer, Mont., has taken the position of clerk at the Jackson Ranger Station. The Forest Service camp crew, which has been modernizing recreation areas in the Jackson district, with the exception of Jim Harper and Glen Stevens, has left for the win ter. Bill and Dick Steyh, Abe Oehrls and John Burs have re turned to Butte. Harper and Glenn are building equipment for the Elkhom camp grounds. MRS. KRAU S E HOSTESS The Junior . Bridge Club was en tertained by Mrs. Kenneth Krause Tuesday at her home. Mrs. Martin Jackson won high, Mrs. Jack Shepherd second and Mrs. John MacDougal low. The ladies bought and sent a case of gallon cans of fruit to the Soroptomist home in Butte, a yearly project of the club. There were eight members attending. Mrs. Bill Harrison and Mrs. El- vin Peterson served refreshments. Mrs. Allen Dansie went to Butte Monday for medical attention. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Harrison and Tommy kept dental' appointments in Dillon Wednesday. Kenno Krause and Dick Hirschy snow planed via the highway to the top o f the hill where they were met by car. Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Peterson and Melvin and Dr. and Mrs. Harrer and children of Wisdom were din ner guests at the Russell Peter son home Sunday. Fred Nelson and Mrs. Bill Nel son and Paula motored to Butte Tuesday. Mrs. Nelson and daugh ter left by train for Missoula to represent the Willow Ranch Cor poration at a Packers and Guides meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hirschy and Jann and Frederick drove to Dar by over the old Lost Trail Pass road Sunday. They branded calves of cattle being fed at the John Schainberger ranch on Rye Creek and returned that evening. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Matter drove to the Holman and Linden ranch Tuesday to bring Mrs. Holman to Jackson where she boarded the stage for Dillon to visit her daugh ter and meet an old friend Mrs. Lehwalder who was visiting in Dil lon. Mrs. Holman returned home Wednesday. Shoppers in Dillon Tuesday were Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Jardine and Mr.' and Mrs. Russell Peterson and children. You’ll find key chains at the Tribune.
