Rotary eyes program The old familiar W orld War II battlefield symbol of blood plasma hanging from a rifle beside a wounded soldier in the field dramatized the American Red Cross film “ No Other Source” . The film was presented to the Rotary Club on its Sept. 2 meet ing b y Dick Rannus, Kathy Patton and W alt Albert son prom oting a Sept. 21 blood drawing. Robert H ively o f W est ern Montana College was a guest o f Skeets Murray. Program chairmen for the ensuing seven months were appointed b y Frank Davis. N u g g e t s to dance The G o ld Nu Dance Club wDT have its first dance o f the year Oct. 1 at 8 p.m . in Mary Innes School. A potluck supper will follow. A double ring ceremony on June 5, 1982, united Steven A . Harris of Rich ardson, Tex. and former Dillon resident Alicia M. Davis o f Alpine, Tex. The ceremony was per formed by Dr. David Z. Ring, III in the First United M ethodist Church o f Alpine. The bride was given in marriage b y her father and mother, Sam and Katharine Davis o f Alpine. She wore a floor-length dress o f white chiffon and carried a bouquet o f yellow roses, daisies and babies breath. Her attendants were, maid o f honor, Am y Withers o f Dillon and bridesmaids Leanne Clark o f Dallas and Janet Harris, sister o f the groom. Am y, Janet and Leann wore long blue gowns and carried yellow rose bou- . quets. Bill and Anne Harris of Richardson gave their son in marriage. The groom was attended by his brother, W esley H a m s as b e st m»n. Pat Breeland, o f Dallas and J Davis, brother o f the bride, served as ushers. The groom wore a white tuxedo accented b y a yellow rose bouttoniere. The best man and ushers wore dark blue tuxedos. Musical selections, “ Ale- luia” and “ The Lord’s Prayer,\ were sung by mezzo-soprano Margery Tede o f San Francisco. Ms. Tede is A licia’s aunt. She was accompanied b y Dr. Rex W ilson o f Alpine. The candles were lit by Anita and Gaylia Crockett, cousins o f Alicia from Albuquerque, N.M. Wedding celebrations were given b y the bride and groom ’ s families. A reception, following the ceremony, took place in the fellowship hall o f the church. A three-tier wed ding cake, made by Caro lyn Milder of Alpine, was presented by the “ Hand maidens” of First United Methodist Church. The cake was served by Kirsten and Nikola Tede, cousins of the bride from San Francisco. Special services were provided by D oug and Becky Neel. After the bride and groom ’ s departure for a honeymoon in M exico, a ist-wedding meal was bile Oil. Medical School. Alicia is currently employed by Mo- A lida and Steve now make their home in Dallas. Steve is a second year student at Southwestern Alicia graduated from the University o f Texas at Austin M a y 21.
