On the west line of Mr. H eller’s farm, in a deep depression o f the ground, a lake, covering 20 acres is found, no visible supply or outlet, and a t present is about 15 feet deep. Mr. Den ney Hdgne lives on the west side of the lake, a n d ifi p a rt owner. Two years ago, through the efforts of ex-SehatOr Car ter, 3,000 young black bass was secured and placed in the lake. They are pros pering finely. Some of them will now m easure 7 and 8 inches in length. Trout are also in th e lake.
