• IN II - 1,1111 - —MO —Ea Neighborhood Notes RAYNSFORD Samuel M. Wright was a caller in Great Falls Sunday night returning Monday morning. Joe, Earl and Clarence Watson and S. H. Johnson were called to Great Falls on Sunday on account of the serious illness of Mr. Barkley. At last reports he was a little better. Samuel M. Wright and Miss Mary Pattsner attended the dance at Joe Lavoie's on Friday evening and report a good time. Roy L. Fish and wife and B. F. McConkey were business visitors in Great Fall last week. Bailey Strong who has been in Great Falls for the past few days re- turned this morning. Leon McConkey went to Great Falls where he will attend Commerc- ial college this winter. Mr. and Mrs. Cook and daughters, Minnie and Nettie of Highwood. were quests at the homes of Samuel Bright and Clifford Cook last week. Miss Nettie remaining here to attend high school. M9. John M. Lindsay and daugh- ter Edna were callers in Great Falls returning Sunday morning. Misses Alma and Evelyne Irwin of Spion Kop were business visitors in town one day last week. Misses Ora Higgins and Inez Mc- Conkey rttended the dance at Belt last Thursday evening and report a fine time. They were also accompanied by Leon McConkey. Misses Rose and Katie Coalarick and their aunr Mrs. Joseph Vaskey were callers in Belt last Thursday. Word was received of the death of Ira Barkley which occured at 12:15 Tuesday. Dick Oatey of Barker, who has been visiting at the Lane home for a few days, has returned home. George Isaacson of Stanford was here during the week visiting his wife OS 111111 who is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Landry. Mrs. Harry Thompson of Geyse: is visiting with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bergeron. Mrs. George Bird. who has been the guest of Mrs. Peter Vann for a week, has returned home. Miss Eulalie Tint inger, accom panted by Miss Jennie Olson, called Monday evening on Mrs. C. A. Jones. A dince will be given at the White schoolhouse on Saturday night, Nov. 16. This dance is to be given for the benefit of the Christmas tree and no doubt a large crowd will attend, as good music and a supper base been engaged. Tickets $1.00. A surprise party was given at the Landry, Sr. home on Saturday night. Among the guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bergeron, Mr. and Ms. John Prevost, Mr. and Mrs. E. 1„ Landry, Mrs. H. B. Thompson. Misses May Quann, Lena Tintinger, Messrs. Tons and Pete Bergeron, Joe, William, Jack and Wallace Prevost. Mrs. John Chambers has been re- ported ill this week. BELT PARK. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Drake, Mr, and Mrs. Homer Thomas and Alice Joyce transacted business at Nethart. XVed- nesday. Mr. and Mrs. Edw. Larson hays moved from their ranch and will spend thu winter in Neihart. John Croft •vent to Harkey, Satur- day for a few days stay. Threshing is about completed in this vicinity. The yield was fairly good, all things considered. Ira Todd came out from Great Falls Thursday and will spend a few days hunting. A party was given at the home of Chas. MacGibbon h irsday evcning, it being the occasion of Wm. Mat - Gibbon's birthday. A pleasant time was had by all. Wm. Knowles. John Croft. Earl Luther and Lewis Cout us enjoyed a days hunt this week. They brough home two deer and a number of grouse. School closed in Belt Park, Nov. A party was given Oct. 25th at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H omer Thomas in honor of the teacher Miss Katherine O'Neill. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Draker, Mr. and Mrs. Axel Yule, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Herbert Dickinson attended a Hal- lowe'en social at the Shonkin school house, which was given by the young ladies of the upper and lower Shonkin.
