Mr. Talbot arrived in this city last night from Bozeman bearing hi cup, ribbons and cash, tired and glad to get back to Cascade coun- ty. He wasn't excited about having an arm full of premium ribbons be e anse he has grown used to being awarded prises for excellent grain. It is always the \open season\ on premiums with Mr. Talbot and when he goes forth to compete the others initially have to take to the tail timber. The test at Bozeman was not a fair showing of what Talbot can do When he is showing at him normal condition. He entered the contest under a handi- cap about equal to a fellow going into the ring to fight a man of his class with Ili a left hand tied to his side.
