Smith of Dover was buried last Sunday afternoon in the lo- cal cemetery. Mrs. Roy and choildmu moved to Great Falla this week. Mr. Roy is the foreman of the tunnel crew at Dover. Mr. And Mrs. Jot Willis are the proud parents of a baby girl. Mother and child are both get- ting along nicely. Rev. and Mrs. E. S. Ireland of Geyser visited the editor's fam- ily over the week end. The school and church at Geyser are still closd on account of the Flu. Grain is Coming into the lout! elevators- as fast as it. can be handled the fine daya. A pret- tier fall than this is beyond the recollection of the oldest inhab- itant. Mr. Maynard moved his fami- ly into the house occupied by L. T. O'Mera and this week he re- turned to Illinois to finish prep- aration of his stock and 'farm machinery for shipment to Mon- tana, where he has decided to make his home. Dr. H. 0. Moore has returned to Stanford from the hospital and is gaining in strength each day. His mother cpent a few days with him here before re- turning to her home in Creston, lows. Mrs. Louis Spady is a guest at the J. A. Spady home this week. James Kelleher was down from Great Falls the first of the week visiting his sons. Will Pfister returned from Lewjstown on Monday after sev- eral days of serious illness in the hospital there. Poor luck in backing will ruin the best disposition. Democratic nominee for coilnty commissioner in place of Mr. Cox, who died since the primar- ies, was in town the latter part of last week. Frank Meredith left for Phil- lipsburg, Kansas. on Monday to attend the funeral of his brother Jess, whose death occurred in Chicago, where he was in train- ing for war work in the Y. M. C. A. Word has been received by Mrs. F. W. Lester that her broth- er, D. A. Fergueon, who is serv- ing with the First Canadian Mounted Rifles, has been wound- ed and is now in a hospital in 'byre, France.
