Kendall, Montana, May 5, 1903 HEATH & MILLIGAN'S PAINTS AT KENDALL DRUG STORE CArIP AND COUNTY NEWS Dr. F. F. Attix, Lewistown, Mont. I , The Sunday School in Kendall is in a thriving condition and the regular Sun- day attendance is quite large. Montana union made cigars for sale at Clingan & Hamilton's Kendall. John Dobson will shortly begin build- ing a porch in front of his house. Mr. Dobson will soon have one of the neatest cottages in town. Mr. Frank Sullivan, of the Horseshoe Bar ranch, was in town a few days last week, taking treatment for a severe cold. The family of Mr. 'Wedlock, who is employed at the Barnes -King mine,. arrived in Kendall last Sunday from Neihart, Montana. If you want a drink of first-class whisky try Hunter's rye, or W. H. McBryer's Cedar Brook bourbon, for sale at antigen tk Hamilton's. -- AitEur Weston left. Kendall . -- Otis morning for Harlowton where he will engage in the saloon business. The Lewistown Meat & Provision Co. carry fresh meats, fish, home-tuade lard, and home-made hams and bacon. Brother Van will arrive Kendall on Monday, the 11th inst., and . It is rumored that a fine new bunk house will soon be built on the Barnes - King property for the accornodation of the miners and mill men in their em- ploy. Elmer Munkers has started his saw mill on the Silverthorn rancli.oind is now busy filling orders for rough !umber. Mr: Munkere has enough orders to keep his mill running several 14041hs. Rev. Geo. Edwards wishes to - announce that he will hold religious services in the Cook block at Kendall, next Sunday evening, May 10.h. Foley's Honey and Tar is peculiarly adapted for asthma, bronchitis and lI a rseness. C. C. Swan, who works about the solu- tion tanks at the Barnes -King mill, is resting for R few days. He splashed a few drops of cyanide solution onto his neck which poisoned it. Swan thinks he will be all right in a few days. Kendall conlinues to grow and pros- per, and outsiders find this a desirable place for business locations. The latest thing for the camp is a wholesale liquor store. The stock of goods is expected to arrive here any day. Lumber arrived Sunday aftertionn for building the ice box for the Montana Meat company. The new meat market has been delayed somew.iat in starting for the reason that it has been impossible to get building material into the camp. Will Cure Consumption A. A. Frank Sage, the livery man from Maiden, drove into Kendall Sunday morning, bringing with him Messrs. Tom Burgess and Clyde Wilson, who had been to the pioneer mining camp on business. Dr. Aubrey H. Rnssell and wife left this (Tuesday) morning for Lewistown, where he already has quite a large prac- tice. It is the doctor's intention to make Lewistown his headqurters in the future, but he will make regular monthly visits to Kendall, when he will be glad to give theme desiring dental work of any kind, the benefit of his . long professional ex- perience. Mrs. J. R. McKay and children arrived home Sunday evening from Gilt NM, where they were visiting for several weeks. They were accompanied by Mrs. Mc Kay's brother and sister, Mr. George Nipper and Miss Nipper of Gilt Edge, , Paul Smith took advantage of his \long change\ in shifts to round up his buggy team on the range, and with Mrs. Smith, drove over to Lewistown. Paul returned home alone Saturday evening, leaving his wife to spend a week with her .parents in the county lest. Stephens will be grieved to learn that she has been confined in the Colum- bus hospital in Great Falls for eeveral weeks since her departure from Kendall. She has so far recovered however, as to be able to go on an extended visit to California for the benefit of her health. W. A. Shanks has secured the agepcy for the Kendall district, of the New ;York Life Insurance Company.
