Charles Parker and Guy Parker, employees, are the proud possessors of Baby Lin- coln cars (Fords), which they recently purchased from the Ford agent, Harry Huffman. Both will enter their cars in the auto race scheduled for the Fourth at the rodeo at Busby. The Tongue River Training school is taking on a very much improved appearance since the carpenters, masons and land- scape artist have finished giv- ing the school plant the much needed improvements. Fiftl trees have been added to the school ground, a new cement sidewalk and a number of new buildings. J. A. Sullivan and wife of South Dakota were guests at the Busby Club last Thursday. They are on their way to Ther- mopolis, where Mr. Sullivan will take the baths for rheu- matism. Mr. Sullivan was a school teacher previous to tak- ing up ranching and is in a position to appreciate the school advanbages which is being furn- ished the Cheyenne Indian youth at the Tongue River Training school. - Among the twenty Indians employed in making the im- provements at the training school were two Indians, Philip Rising Sun and Jim Rockroads, both beyond the seventy-year mark and the writer can state that these two Indians did fully as much laborious work as any thirby-year-old white man or Indian. Some people have the impression that the Indian is afraid of work; not so with the Cheyenne. He is looking for work, and will give value re- ceived. The braining school will send six members of the 4-H Club to the Camp Club at Crow. The following boys and girls are elected to attend: Frank Ridge - walker, Henry Sioux, Henry I ron hand, August S,calpcane Flossie Littlebear and Alice Red - cherries. The Cheyenne b ys as a whole, have taken a keen interest in following out the program outlined fo club work, especially in the Jtato club. The Garden Club an Corn Club have also been taken up with prospects very favorable. Anticipating a large gathering fo r the rodeo at Busby, the Cheyennes have been extremely busy putting the race track and grand stand in tiptop condition for the big time. Anyone plan- ning on enjoying an outing will not make a mistake in taking in the \doings\ here July 1, 2, .3 & 4. A large number of Crow Indians will join the Cheyennes in making this event something to be remembered. Plenty of good water, fuel and ideal camping grounds.
