Included in these studies is a revision of the faculty handbook, a review of current graduation requirements, organization for more effective in-service meetings, the grading policy, enrichment classes, progress reports, suspension policies, development of new courses, re-evaluation of the present course of study outlines, and examination of a number of variable time schedules. Following eight weeks . of deliberation, committee work, writing and evaluation of the various areas to be considered, specific recommendations will be made to the Board of Trustees. A new time schedule is curr- ently under examination by one of the committees. Classes which run 50 minutes would normally meet every day and classes which run the double period would meet on an every- other-day basis. This variable schedule would allow teachers in the areas of homemaking, industrial arts, physical education, some business courses, music, cont. pg. 2 Pictured above are the local beauticians and the lody residents of Poplar Community Hospital Nursing Home.
