POPLAR SHOPPER ANNUAL MEETING OF EMCHA MAY 14, 1970 The Board of Directors of Eastern Montana Community Health Association recently held its annual meeting in Circle, Montana. Outgoing president, Mr. Pete Coffey said that the Association had made a lot of progress in the past two months. \ Mr. Dennis Caldwell, ex- ecutive director, stated in his report that the ex- ecutive committee and the staff of the Association has made plans to involve the various health profess- ions, low-income organiza- tions, state & local govern- ment representatives, and others in the process of defining and solving health problems. Mr. Caldwell went on to say that this summer, plan- ning coordinators will begin to use existing organizations where possible, or create new organizations on the county level, to get max- imum involvement of the people of Eastern Montana in the program. An election was held for the board of directors, executive committee mem- bers and officers. Those elected are as follows: New members on board of directors: Dr. J. Nevin Thompson, Wolf Point; Lila Sullivan, Broadus; Mrs. Vern Hichcok, Baker. Members & officers of the executive committee: Ralph Tunby, President-- Plevna, Montana; Dr. W. B.
