Schwartz and family of Omaha, Keb,» te also living out west of town about three inlles and is Just “camping,” bu t w ill build In the fall the residence, a s Mr. Schwartz thinks a lot of his nice stock the barn Is already erected. Considerable land Is broWn and the garden turned out very satisfactory considering the dry season. In the spring Mr. Schwarts will put out an orchard as Iw has a very suitable lo cation. When our representative | called a t the farm the same old iju«- tlon was asked “how do you like it? | I hope you are not discouraged on ac count of the dry season. Mrs. Schwartz very readily answered that tiie country was good and as she (irmly believed we will have a goou season next year. She said, \and this dry and smoky summer will then easily be forgotten. A visit out to J im Dupuis’ place, 4 miles east of Poison would certainly prove very interesting to lovers of fruit and lo persons interested in gardening. The trees are practically covered with apples of all kinds and some are so full of fruit that part of the apples have to lay cn the ground. The renter, 51r. L. De Hanleau, has acres covered with a most successful garden and the farm lu whole looks very attractive and a trip out would be enjoyed.
