Mrs. Becker and Mrs. Coleman are sis- ters. A. D. Burrow came in from his claims in the Clearwater Tuesday to order a new supply of pro- visions which were packed in the following day by the Gareau pack train. Mrs. Charles Bisiar and infant son spent Monday under the parental roof in Missoula. George Augustine went to Wal- lace Monday en route to Spokane where he transacted business the fore part of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Isaacs and children spent the Fourth with the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mar- ian Meisenheimer at Spring Gulch. Sheriff Riberdy and family re- turned from Missoula Tuesday, where they had been stampede Reuben Fuller of Wallace ar- rived Saturday, and will go shortly to the Gold Craig, his mining property up Cedar creek. Mrs. Chas.,Hoffman and children are visiting Mrs. Hoffman's sister Mrs. B. E. Card of Missoula. Mr. Hoffman going down to spend Sunday and take in the Stampede. Rev. Mertz of Missoula will hold regular services at the school house Sunday evening at 8 o'clock. Sheriff Riberdy went to St. Regis Wednesday to attend to Apicial business. Conrad C. Dill's application for homestead entry on lot 7 and the northeast quarter of lot 8, of sec. 25, township 17 north, range west has been accepted. Tom Lapp went to Wallace Monday to confer with Sam Sei- denfeldt concerning the Clearwater copper property. Bennie Snooks and Joe Eslick returned to the Iron Mountain tunnel Wednesday, after spend- ing several days in Missoula. Walter A. Klugman ;eturned from Malden, Wash., Wednesday night and expects to remain here the (mance of the summer. Fred Welfong of Orofino, Idaho, is here on forestry business. Mrs. McBride of Missoula will be the guest of Mrs. Joe Char- ette Sunday, making the trip by auto. MANY ENJOY• PICNIC The picnic held by the Stay -at - Homes on the Fourth was an en- joyable event from all reports. Tarkio carried home most of the laurels, having defeated the Su- perior ball team, carried off the honors in the tug-of-war and won in the horse race. However, the ladies' race was won by Mrs. Moore, one of Superior's popular, young ladies. Keystone Items Emil Lenerson made a business trip to Keystone the first of the week. Mrs. McDowell went to Missoula last week. Miss Nell Hunter returned to -Ketone the first of the week. 6tto Riefflin moved his family to Superior last week. W. H. Widdicomb went to the Stampede. Joe Kernstein -left for Wallace last Friday. Fletcher came up in his auto the first of the week on business. Bill McHeffey was up from the ranch Saturday. C. B. Etnier of Spokane, and brother-in-law Dr. Aston of Boston Mass., were visitors in camp last week. Tom McHugh went to , Missoula the last of the week. Duncan Blair and sister came up from the ranch Sunday. Dr. Fessler was in camp calling on old friends last week. Duncan Eisher came over from the Iron - Mountain Tunnelt far - few days. Courvaras and Mr. and Mrs, Tony Pepe and children. — Alberton Notes Miss Irene Sanderson is visiting friends in Missoula. Mr. and Mrs. W. 8. Hollenbeck are enjoying a visit from Butte relatives. Mrs. W. E. Acrams and children arrived home Saturday, having spent several days with her mother at Deer Lodge. Mrs. J. Kane was taken to the hospital at Missoula'Sunday.
