THE MADISONIAN, VIRGINIA CITY MONT., JULY 10, 1914 3 • NO PANIC POSSIBLE: Marshall Field & Co., in their weekly review of the dry goods trade,. say: - \An excellent condition of retail dry goods stocks throughout the coun- try is indicated by the interest mani- fested in the preinventory sale the first three days of this week. A •greater number of buyers visited the market than has ever attended any of our previous June preinventery sales. \A large volume of merchandise was distributed, with sales heaviest in such lines as wash goods, white goods and laces, although there was lively general buying in all departments. \This demand for goods for immed- iate use was. anticipated from the fact that retailers' future purchases for the spring season were light, and they have depended toa greater ox.\ tent than usual on getting their lines in smaller quantities as they needed them., \Cash receipts show improvement over those of the corresponding period a year ago.\ NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION. To whom it may concern: By ,Inutual agreement the firm known as ShaW & Rowe, Jefferson Island, Mon- tana, has this, the 11th day of June, 1914, been dissolved.
